I've been nagged for quite some time to polish up a granite chopping board that has gone very dull. Not something I've done before, can anyone advise on if the results will be good with dry diamond pads and if so what grades ?

Why would anyone have a granite chopping board? All that will do is dull a sharp knife. A granite pastry board would be a good investment though.

Dull knives are dangerous in the kitchen.
