Where do most folk stand with following a grout line through a niche? I always have but i see here some do and also don't? I'm not saying its wrong, just curious.

I've seen a whoopsie daisy in one job..
So can i, but is it the same one? we will never know :p

DIY tiling of our en suite shower room.
Cuts were a little rough around the niches due to the tile cutter blade which was new, but I should maybe have spent more on a better one. Am happy with the overall result as a first attempt....

Snagging...

Replace travertine tiles, 11 mm. Unfortunately, laid directly on the underfloor heating.

Near Aylesbury, 20 miles from M25

One more mirrored bathroom... 5 squared mirrors
If walls are not perfectly square you won't see a perfect image on all mirrors

Very confined space and entire bookmatch in shower had to be resized, which meant pieces cut on all four sides.
And all just to please Julia Kendall.

Very proud of my first (and last) wetroom. I started this project (my own) at the end of January whilst still recovering from knee replacement surgery. Complete rip out of floor walls and ceiling, me and my wife did everything, plumbing wiring tiling, the lot. we have a combined age of 133. It's now time for a rest.

@Joshjupp this is the thread you should be putting your pictures in.
The forum expatriate is spot on, this is the correct thread to show off your work @Joshjupp

@Dan posted this last week about posting into incorrect threads - Warning system is now being used - https://www.tilersforums.com/threads/warning-system-is-now-being-used.88978/#post-949547

I've now moved & merged a handful of your posts tonight into this thread and another correct part of the forum when I've better things to do at 10pm on a Sunday.

Please post in the correct place & keep up the good work

Wow that's a lot of tiles.

You're clearly a tiler I've given you access to the Tilers Arms. Tradespeople only in there.

You'll get access to Cafe del Tilers too, can chat to suppliers in there as well as fellow traders.

If you scroll to the top of the page you will see a little left arrow with the words tiling forum after it. Click that and you go back a level to the forum, with a list of threads within it.

This is one of those threads.

I'm new to the forum, and just a DIY tiler who likes to lurk but i had to post on this thread as i am gobsmacked at the quality of the work on here, just amazing...truly outstanding.

Which I know is to be expected on a pro tiler forum I suppose but still..

A couple of bathrooms near Biggin Hill, earlier this year.
Porcelanosa Karla range 2.4 x 1.2 x 6mm
More complicated than it actually looks, the tolerance for this range is up to a 30mm pattern miss match, and believe me they used every mm within that range. Tops would meet but not bottom veins, or vice versa, it was just slight of hand that made it work.
And some of the pattern matching is not how it is intended, but it works better.

Not been on here for a while. ( odd time lurking). It’s all gong complicated, and can’t work out how to post a thread.

Orange "Post thread" button at the top of the homepage. It's one button. Way easier than the old forum. It's just different that's all. :)

Nice to see you around matey.
