I have a 23sq m kitchen floor extension to do in 600 sq porcelain. Whole floor is new screed on block n beam. However only new half has wet ufh. Recommendations for Ditra mat over the whole area and movement joint where the heating joins? Skirting is going on top so good perimeter expansion on 3 sides. 4 th side is up to full width glass doors. Combined wisdom appreciated. šŸ§

Sounds like you already have a decent plan in place, and expansion between old and new a must, especially with only one side heated.
A cold joint would suffice, but make sure you split the Ditra on this line too.

Communication ufh first.
Uncoupling membrane over everything and movement joints as you say between ufh and cold floor.
Movement joint between tiles and glass doors, as you say gap under skirting and space skirting 2mm off floor and silicon round when painted

Great wisdom. Thank you.
Is a cold joint a silicone filled grout line?
What size perimeter gap is a minimum?
Julian - whatā€™s ā€œ.communicationā€ all about? šŸ¤”

Sorry spell check, commission the ufh
8mm under the skirting and free of https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/. Cold joint as you say, silicon joint in a colour match to your chosen grout
