Newly laid slate tiles over underfloor heating.. not 100% happy but need advice please.. - Tile Advice

Hi all, I am a total newbie customer i.e. Never used a tiler before and this was a project that took a long time to plan and save for.
It was finished 2 weeks ago and despite the overall effect being very nice, there are, I think, a few problems..please could you advise me and let me know if this is normal and if not let me know what to do..
1. Lots of the tiles sound hollow
2. At least one has started to lift at one end when the other end is weighted
3. Many of them have a raised edge
4. Some raised edges have been 'chipped' by tiler to kind of round over edge a bit
5. Where tiles meet carpet the gripper thing is loose and doesn't seem to fit the height difference.
6. It was supposed to be sealed but there's lots of grease spots showing already

What do you think?

have you paid for it yet? sounds like it hasn't been done very well. What is the tiling on top of, Screed? Concrete, Wood?? Was the adhesive done dot and dab....

What do I think?
It's not good enough. Everything you've highlighted is not acceptable and as @Ajax123 what is under may be worse.
You need to invite them back to rectify your issues immediately.

Yes, we've paid. The tiles are over underfloor heating and then self levelling stuff was put on top and then the tiles laid on that.

Thanks.. I'll get him to come back. Is it ok to just replace the ones that sound hollow and are uneven/chipped or so you think whole lot needs to be redone?

Will do, haven't got in touch yet but will send him a message this evening.
I got 4 quotes and went with him as he was the friendliest, explained what he was going to do most clearly, could start the soonest and was the only one who turned up exactly on time to do quite! Oh and he also had loads of good reviews on my builder website!

How long after tiling did you turn it on and how did you turn it on ?

Turned it on after 1 week. Just put it straight on its suggested programme..which is 15degrees during day and 22 degrees during evening. Is this a factor do you think?

YES...
Should of been left at least 3 to 4 weeks and then turned on extremely slowly just a few degrees each day.
It's probably expanded the floor to quickly causing the tiles to debond.

Did the tiler explain what to do with the underfloor heating settings.
