Hello everyone
Have done quite a a bit of floor and wall tiling over the years for myself. I would like to learn what the current best practices are before i start tiling my bathroom walls.

Welcome to the forum, glad you found us! What sort of tiles are you looking to use in your bathroom?

Thanks for the welcome :) Been tiling my own jobs for about twenty years. Mostly done kitchen splash backs and the odd bathroom. 90% of the tiles used were cheapo ceramics. Used mosics once when they first became available in the big DIY stores they were bloody expensive and i messed the job up. Went on ok but i messed up the grouting, the grouting went into all of the imperfects on the face. Not sure what they ere made of, you live and learn :).

Not chosen the tiles for my bathroom yet, but I dont want to make the same mistake i made last time i tiled it. I used a tile from B&Q and it marked when i put bleach on it.
