Hi.
I’m currently refurbishing a very large old house and the customer has just had delivered White 6” marble hexagon tiles and a matching boarder but unfortunately The boarder is 4mm thicker than the white ones. They want us to lay the boarder around the whole bathroom including shower trays and recesses. I’m worried about the height difference and making it all marry up in general. Does anyone have any advice on this? They want 2mm spacers and want it perfect........

Yep as Albert says, you can get 4mm xps board. or use 6mm and perhaps build up the border. Grinding down the border tile would be at the bottom of a long list of options i would choose
