Mapei Mapei WP200 waterproof decoupling membrane anybody else use it? - Tile Advice

Been using Mapei WP200 waterproof decoupling membrane for the last 3 wetrooms I’ve done. Must say it’s a really good product and recommend trying it. Easy to get hold of at CTD, 30 metre roll, corner/ transition tapes, internal/external corners available also.
Anybody else use it and what is your opinion of it?

Haven’t cut out drain yet or niche in that photos. Belts braces sporrans and all that

Sanded, degreased and primed diluted and neat then tape tested. Once dry flexi adhesive with some additive. The first Impey I did a little test area and tried to pull it off the following day, no chance

Yes, Impey waterguard. Makes sense your prep for putting the WP200 on the Impey former. I've often thought the same with Schluter Kerdi tanking

Must admit I do like that Impey tray, the waste gives you options to catch the outlet if you are tied for position.

I did one in Kerdi years ago rather than use the tile safe

I used plywood, ardurit X7 and Adrion 90 admixture in my shower at home - 1986 - hand made French 3inch glazed terracotta - still there!

Back then must be proper wide joint grout . Must be a little tricky to keep clean .
