Just grouted a floor today with TM Jasmin, against my advice of it being too light a colour thats what she wanted, anyhow picked up a can of LTP grout sealer spray...is it any good, also is it as easy as it says on the tin, just spray and leaves no residue on the polished porc?
Did a test on some kitchen roll sprayed and the water wouldn't soak into it at all, just sat on it in a droplet, so definitely improves water penetration, which in turn has got to surely improve staining etc..
Am popping back tomorrow night to seal the grout so can I just spray over joints and walk away confident or should I need to hang around and polish up?
Oh and somone will no doubt mention epoxy...don't bother :D

If over applied, can leave residue thats difficult to shift. Depends on the tile as to how visible it is. E.g black polished porcelain shows everthing, even that what shouldn't be there.

I recently had to clean a showroom floor which was dirty however I noticed it was specially dirty round the edges.. Apparently it had been sprayed with similar grout protector and left!

Have you had a good deal on wedge clips or something?
Funnily enough yes I have but mainly used so many as the tiles are 800's and they're having plinth lights across the floor which will illuminate the slightest of lips so just being over carefull ;)

I have recommended this to plenty of customers, I advise them to spray it into the lid and apply it with a paintbrush to the grout lines, saves on having buff tiles and it lasts longer
