Limestone Expansion Joints

I was wondering if some of you experts could offer some advice. I have had a limestone floor laid recently on flexible https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/. The tiles are various lengths and are 600mm wide and 30 mm thick laid on a bed of 10mm thick flexible https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/. The tiles abut the walls where there is a 10mm run of flexible grout but no expansion joints ( 8mm was specified all around against the walls and thresholds. The room is approx 4 m wide and 7.5 m long.

There is no underfloor heating and no overt insulation. The tiles were laid on a thick slab of concrete creed at least 150 mm thick.

Should I ask the builder to cut out the grout adjacent to the walls and up to the door thresholds and what are the risks if he doesn't?

Thank you for your help.

As there is no underfloor heating and the stone is 30mm thick I would say everything should more than likely be fine. Would the gap around the perimeter have been covered by skirting board? All the best

Any floor over 7m in length needs an additional expansion joint
