I also use knee pads in my pants,
in summer I use normal knee pads,
I found a super light type, € 3 per pair,
they last a month, but very comfortable for me.
sometimes I get into the van with the knee pads still on.
I forget I have them up.
not all tilers are the same, some are fine
with hard ones, I prefer soft ones
that wrap around the knee

I wear Alpro’s and have replaced the straps with Fenton ones. I’ve had them about 8 years so excellent value for money. Considering I’m on my knees all day I think these are the reason I don’t knee new knees like the carpenters and plumbers I meet.
