How many goes did that take?
First time mate. 😊
I’ve done a few now, I don’t much like the alternatives, and tbh, there’s not choice out there.

Most welcome fella.
2 things really... 1 being to just catch up on anything new and secondly finding a comparison on people’s view of NoMorePly & other backer board installation. I shall start thread with it.
Good luck in the competition 👍

Really tidy work as usual .
Respect to the plumbers though for using solder stop ends instead of 30mm push fits I wish more would do it . Was it at your request they did that .

well thank you Jerry, it’s comforting to know that the stand out features for you are the soldered stop ends! You have a keen eye my friend! 🙈🙈

it wasn’t my request I’m afraid, Kevin is just a very good plumber actually, and thinks ahead.
mid out you in touch, but he lives in Dartford.

As you know I have keen eye for anything that hacks me off , and nothing hacks me off more than following poor/lazy trades .

This is what happens with push fits .
Yes mate, I know, drives me mad too. What really upsets me is when plumbers say, ‘oh it’s ok I can put a cheap and nasty looking bit of silver plastic over the top. 😡😡

This was one of those bristan things ( I didn't know at the time ) which has a plastic plate that holds the pipes at the right dimensions ,and you tile to it .
He obviously thought that is was a good idea to leave that off

Why would you do something like that, it's disgraceful . White silicone is surely proper way to do it .
