How to fix skirting on this? - Tile Advice

Hi Guys,

Have a utility project coming up where i want to install tile skirting. What's your advice on how i attach them looking at the picture..I'll be using a porcelain tile, approx 9or10mm.
The walls will be skimmed prior, depth from the brickwork to batten/wall is approx 20mm. The floor will be done first(?) which will be 10mm marmox, ufh, slc and tile. Any help greatly appreciated

As in to pack out from the brickwork? Is the difference between 250 and 500 board the thickness?

Yes , 250 is 6mm and 500 is 12mm
