Having had my wooden skirting replaced below our shower with some UPVC, I’m left with a 15mm gap between our floor tiles and the new UPVC skirting.

The bloke that did the job filled it with wall tile grout and it’s cracked and looks pretty bad

Any ideas on how best to fill this gap? Going to have to do a similar job on the bath and will have the same problem only worse!!

Rip it off and install thicker plastic skirting, if that's an option?.

Thanks Steve. To be honest this is not really an option for me at this point (for reasons of ability as much as anything)
Would it be ok to fill it with floor tile grout?
Seems to have been used elsewhere for a similar gap which has been effective enough (see pic)

It could look ok if you can make a neat job of it.
