I just spent a few minutes blathering on about why and how I got here, and pressed 'enter button', so my message went into the ether. So, to reiterate, you gave me confidence last week to go back to my friend's tiling job for her ( demanding ) mother in her new (to her ) old house, and properly prepare the kitchen (and bathroom) walls, which were in no condition for a professional looking job. My friend may never have survived otherwise, so cheers for that.
On the strength of that breakthrough, I bought myself a tile cutter to bring back to rural SA to finish the renovations I have had going (very slowly and solo) for the last 6 or so years. I'll keep on having a squiz at what going in this forum - unless Aussies aren't allowed (fingers crossed....
