Discuss Glass damage from ceramic tile dust in the Specialist Tiles -Stone, Porcelain, Glass area at TilersForums.com

I have been cutting quarry tiles outside with a diamond wet saw. i didn't notice but the spray went onto a glass patio door. when i tried to clean off the black dots a few days later i couldn't shift it and on closer inspection it appears that the glass is damaged. Is this a known consequence? any ideas on how to clean up ? I have tried scrubbing and scraping but it just reduces the roughness but doesn't change the appearance
