Been watching clips of it on Facebook.
Could be tempted to get rid of my Makita & go back to Dewalt.

Snazzy vids , complete lack of detail on performance tho!! How long will a battery last if i use it to cut floor tiles for instance???

Thats the first prices I've seen Marc, gone it a month or two for the competition to kick in then we'll see some better prices. It's great that its compatible with the existing XR range

The Dewalt guy was on here last year asking questions about what we would like, seems this could be why then.

Makita already have existing and new tools which will take x2 packs, albeit that's only 36v.
Everyone else will already have their own answers to this in the pipeline, ready for launch...

Awesome post ! Want a new cordless grinder still not sure which one I'm to fussy. My makita was great just have no confidence in their battery's so moved away from them,
I have dewalt Xr drills so this would be good but I don't like the trigger switch unless it can lock on.
Been looking at the brushless Milwaukee fuel ( they have 9ah bats out soon!!) or the Metabo hd either way it means new bats and charger. So unless dewalt bring out a nice model with a slim body and a switchy switch i will need to spend the big bucks.

I never liked the dewalt cordless grinder trigger position, pity they couldn't make one that was more like other main stream manufacturers that's more suited to what we do!
