Minimum earth for tncs

Hi all, need some help as I'm having a blank. Replacing a consumer unit on a tncs that currently has a run of 2.5 metre tails
16mm tails and 10mm earth. I don't want to waste money for no reason replacing them if not necessary, I know a lot of people would fit 25mm and 16mm earth but the supply is a 60a carrier soni cant see a problem. The issue in having is whether the 10mm earth is ok? I'm looking at table 54.7 and to be honest I'm getting confused with it. Looks to me like its saying it can be less than 16mm but should surely give a size?
