Discuss Do I grout the cuts in my pre-cut tile? in the DIY Tiling Forum area at TilersForums. The USA and UK Tiling Forum (Also now Aus, Canada, ROI, and more)

Ive laid this tile in my bathroom

It’s been pre-cur to give the illusion of being 4 smaller tiles.

Do I grout in the pre-cut lines? Someone told me to avoid that as it didnt look deep enough but surely the tile is designed to be grouted in the cuts.

If it has glaze on the (fake) joint I don't think you will do. Just zoomed in on the pic of the tile and I think you're meant to not grout that part. And match it as best you can with the same mm tile spacer and grout that with white grout.

these are normally made to be grouted, sometimes they are glazed over so can’t be grouted.
Best to mix a small bit of grout and try on a spare tile and see if it stays in the joint

If not glazed some grouts work better than others as the fake joints aren't that deep. Mapei ultra colour plus would be my choice.

Ditto on Mapei Ultracolour, i used the manhattan grey not long ago on similar tiles and it took to the false grout line ok.
