Cutting tiles for a wet room shower former - Tile Advice

Hi There, im about to start cutting my floor tiles for a wet room, i have a shower tray former with an end drain. The cut patterns are fairly self explanatory however am i right in thinking that dry cutting the 'fall cuts' is not an option? Im thinking wet cutting is required to create the grout gap? Is this correct? If so can anyone recommend a budget wet cutter for 600 x 300 ceramic tiles? (i normally buy decent tools but dont plan on doing much wetroom tiling ever again!)

You could pick up a Vitrex bridge saw on eBay or Gumtree for £100 - £150 and sell it on after.

You could just buy a good quality turbo type blade for a grinder.

Angle grinder with a straight edge Or a tile cutter that will cut the tiled diagonal to give a much cleaner tighter finish

Thanks for all the advice went with the angle grinder and straight edge in the end, after a couple scrappers got the method sorted and got the job done. Just wish I'd have used a darker grout now! 😔

You can dry cut the tiles to the tray..........may need to polish the edge to remove any sharpness.

I needed to remove 3mm of tile to create the groute gap, I ended up dry cutting 1 edge then wet cutting 3mm back for the other
