Hi All.

I'm just looking for a little bit of help please. I am laying a 25 sqm 800x400 patio in the coming weeks. I am going to hopefully do all my straight cuts with an angle grinder and a straight edge. I have both a 41/2" and 9" grinder and was wondering in your experience which size disc would be best for the 800 cuts? Also could anybody recomend a blade for me and an idea of how many I will need to cut say a total of 15m of straight cuts?

Also I will need to make some curved cut outs for waste pipes and the likes should I get a specific porcealin grinding disc for this or just gently grind the material away with the cutting disc? Ok and last one for now any recomendations for a product to dress up the cut edges and just smooth out any cut marks on exposed edges (it's a raised patio).

Sorry if these questions have been asked before but I would appreciate any advice.

Cheers Gra,

I would use the 4.5 inch disc, I normally get the turbo porcelain disc from pro tiler tools, grab a diamond polishing pad attachment aswell and that should do the trick to smooth the cuts.
