Hi to all.
10 years ago I made my own timber kitchen.
6 years ago I painted it because the wife was sick of seeing timber.
I also screwed 1/2" ply to the timber worktops and covered it with 2' square glittery quartz tiles that she just had to have.
The tiles are all done as per recommended sealing, expensive https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ and very expensive catering grade grout.
Now she wants all the doors replaced with made to measure stuff (because none of them are standard).
She also wants the quartz worktops covering.
Removing the tiles, plywood and original timber worktop would be a nightmare.
Covering them with another worktop would make them even higher than they are now.
My idea is to glue a 3mm ply to the tiles and then glue a laminate sheet to that, trying to keep the height down.

So, is it possible to glue to quartz?
Thanks for any help.
