If you used this type of product on the wall , and there is porosity .I would test a water based Impregnator on your samples,( like oils ,solvents can darken these ) you will need to clean/maintain these at some point.
Im sure I saw these types of product at the London surface design show- they also had porcelain conrete replicas , perhaps they mix them to cover the wet areas.

I have a few samples from Mandarin Stone, upto now they are the ones I would go for.
I’m just waiting for the last set of tile samples from CTD architectural tiles before making my mind up

Cheers

I have seen a lot of company’s that looks like they have great looking tiles, getting samples or even buying them is the problem

A sample just gives the indication of the colour and really is no reflection of the nuances of the complete tile be it whatever size
Then you have 2 options
Showrooming - Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Showrooming
or
Research online, purchase offline - Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Research_online,_purchase_offline
:)

There’s not many local stores for me to visit, CTD, Topps tiles, discount tiles and the local sheds.
What I will do is soon as I find a couple of samples I like I will order a full size tile or two. I won’t order a full bathrooms worth of tiles from just a small sample.

Cheers

Found these ones at CDT, just waiting for the samples now. May gave up on the concrete panels. The 1200x600 and a couple of the patterned ones mixed in

If you’re looking at porcelain,
Check these out, I know this company personally and I’m on their approved contractors list.
First ones are 1200 x 600
Second 1800 x 900 (these are very effective.)

(Persian range)

They’ll send samples on request.
Speak with Ray (the owner) and tell him you’re a forum member, he’s very helpful.

Thanks, I looked at them. I will order a couple of samples. I’m sure I seen a clip on YouTube where they are cut with a glass cutter.
The 1200x600 I would have a go at fitting, the 1800x900 would be a bit too much for my first attempt..

Where’s my manners!
Of course you can also try one of our sponsors
Brooke Ceramics, not sure what ranges they carry but will be well worth a look I’m sure.
They’re listed below this thread.

Johnathan, with the amount of effort you’re putting in to your research, you deserve all the help we can give. :)
