Chrome square edge tile trim repair - Tile Advice

Anybody know if the guys that repair scratches on baths, worktops etc can repair a scratch on 10mm square edge chrome trim? Customer from around a year ago phoned and told me he had an accident with a claw hammer as he was on a stool and hammer on loop scratched trim. He does have couple of spare tiles but would need 9, he went ahead and ordered but new ones are totally different shade very noticeable.

Had thought about that, he kinda wasn't keen as would have to be rest of trims aswell

Did tell him plastic doctor type guy could recoat all trims a colour

Try rejuven8 or revive the finish. They've both got facebook pages.

Auto sol metal polish ? Not sure if these trims have a shiny coating or are actually a polished finish

I tried polishing a mark out of a trim and removed the top coat down to the aluminium body .
