Hi guy's
The reason I have found this site is that I might possibly be taking volentary from my work and have been trying think about getting into the tile.So this might be the best time for me to leave my job cause I can leave with some money(not a lot) to fund a course, but choosing the right course is proving hard due the different lenths and costs. If things go the way I am kind of planning then I would take my money and leave and go sit a course once I have choosen the right one with the possibilty of being offered a mon-fri 9-5 job soon(not definate) so I would hope to get homers at night and weekends to bring in a good income. But also with big changes in my life just now the thought of becoming a Tiler and moving abroad with the skills(not sure how the courses help with getting qualified for this)is starting to appeal to me, so maybe a would be better with a different course if I was to forget moving in future .
As I live in central Scotland the choice of courses are fewer than in England I have been looking at Tile Training School in Edinburgh(hi guy's ) who do a 4wk course for £1950 with good feedback also NETT (hi guy's) who longest course if I am right is 8 day's and at a cost of £950 with a special deal just now at £845 a think and also good feedback then I have seen Master tile School in Essex(not sure if you on here) doing a budget 6wk course for £2000 and a 8wk course for £3800 but I would also need to think about accomidation aswell.Just need to really think about it and use my redundancy money wisely as they all say you will be confident in taking on any job once you complete the course.
Sorry for long post lol but just looking for advice/knowledge and feedback and maybe there is a few similar cases that have went through this.
Thanks
Tommy
