Hi,

I have a small cloakroom under the stairs, the floor of which is currently bare (concrete screed). Due to the house being on a slope, and not being able to do damp proofing (there are some technical issues relating to the house), part of it gets a bit damp sometimes. It appears that I need to either accept that and either keep the floor bare for ventilation, or use a breathable material so that there is no trapped dampness.

I would love tiles, if possible. Is it correct that limestone tiles are breathable? Do you have any other recommendations?

Thank you very much.
