I've seen these large trowels for flooring on most tiling tool sites, does anyone use one? Do they make trowelling faster and more consistent ?

I’ve used a raimondi trowel which is nearly twice as long as a standard trowel to comb https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ on the back of a large format tile and found it quicker.

think it's a 20mm round notch about twice the length of a normal one. Took a bit of getting used to but now find it great

I like longer trowels mostly use the Marshalltown longer ones , they are in between the regular size and the larger ones like the raimondi pictured above

Lightweight https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ and a standard size trowel = faster than a mahooooisive giant trowel and sandy https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/.

Big trowels are like these imo: ;)
