What in your opinion is the best porcelain blade for a DeWalt D24000? Having a few nightmares trying to find a really great one.

Thanks

You are not on your own Lynn, I tried a variety recently from Montolit , Rubi, ATS and Sigma.....None gave "outstanding" result but the continous rim and the ones like the montolit squiggles in the blade gave the better finish, Turbo blades tended to give minimal chipping.

What blade are you using at the mo Lynn? I've got the Dewalt premium porcelain blade in mine (the one tradetiler supplies it with) and find it to be top class.

Do Dewalt do more than the one blade? The one that came wirh mine is ok, but I wouldn't call it great. It's good enough that I won't fork out for the DNA though hehe!

There's a standard blade and a premium porcelain blade.

It must've come With the porcelain blade, as I don't imagine the ceramic blade would go through the porcelain, and stone, I've used it on so far. ;)

PM me your address details.

We do a continuous rim blade at 250mm that will fit the Dewalt. I should have sent this to Sir Ramic for a test along with our turbo blade but have no idea why I didn't.

I'd like someone to run a test on this blade for us, real world.

No cost to you.

Like Neale says, we've found that continuous rim gives the best finish in porcelain.

ive had the same problem recently, dna is good but pricy, ive had the marcist that went well after it had been worked in, but im using the porcelain blade from dewalt at the minute and it seems to take a bit longer to get through, but leaves a nicer finish, dont think it lasts as long as the others but its half the price

Rubi do the red disc for the grinder. Gotta use it a few times to wear it in. Then it's amazing !

I've had a montolit dna blade in for over 2 years now in my rubi wet cutter, best blade I've used to date.
