I am Currently in dispute with a large company on my area regarding this recent tile job and cloakroom fitting. I would just like some comments from experienced tilers as to what they think of this work. It is alwrge area cloakroom hallway kitchen and utility room. I am requesting they lift the whole lot and replace as spacing out, lines not straight, grouting uneven and messy, edges not finished,. Raised tiles etc. Thanks

Holy s🤬🤬t, I'd be embarrassed to leave a job in that condition 😠 did they raid your drinks cabinet before they started.
They should be made to rip it up and you be fully refunded.

He was supplied by the tile company as a tiler but I have since found out his company (I believe he was subcontracted) is advertising as a plumbing and tiler and Co. Was only set up on Co House as a Ltd Co in July this year. I was led to believe that he was their 'best' tiler 😱

Some of the pictures are to close and therefore out of context . Some of your issues can be remedied easily with a clean up and so siliconing , that is not to say that it's a good job , I think you will dilute your argument if you concentrate on the things I have mentioned as they can all be remedied , but misalignment and lippage can't so if you want a refit you should in my opinion concentrate on those issues .

Those door architrave cuts are terrible. it's embarrassing.

how are the other images of his tile work from his website/facebook if you have had a look?

You are completely right in wanting it redone. I can't see how any of that cane be remedied without the majority needing re done

We didn't see any of his work. He was supplied to us via a tile company they promised us their best tiler 😅. We had used them previously about 5 years ago and did a fabulous job so I guess it's all down to the actual guy who does the job. We trusted the company they are well known in our area and have great reviews. We understand that the tiler in question has been terminated and won't work for them again (I can't believe that he ever did any previous work for them to be honest).

Looks like the Grout may have hardened before he washed it off, was it the apprentice that tiled it?
