Sorry guys, I have the opposite problem, I have a 28" waist, I struggle to get work wear for me :mad2: I am also 6'1" and athletic so not a bean pole. Trousers are the hardest thing to get, they either think my waist size means I am about 10 years old so trousers look like shorts or when I get the length right I need to fit someone else in them to make the waist fit!
Snickers is the only company I have found that meet my needs, and they also happen to be amazing quality, if a little expensive, but if your in them all day they need to be good. I have the floor layers trousers and the knee pads work superbly, micro beads like those in bean bags.
Well worth the money if you ask me :hurray:

I use the exact same trousers and knee pads. Awesome piece of kit, but I've got a couple of largeish floors coming up, and my knees feel a bit sore from working almost every single day for the past 4 months or so, so I'm looking to buy a pair of good quality external pads, like platinum pads or something... The Snickers floor layer pads are excellent; best pocket knee pads I've ever tried, but it feels like it's a good idea to get something even more heavy duty for pure floor laying.

It's a shame that some specialist gear is so hard to get over here. I'll have to order over the net from overseas, and it's gonna cost me arm and leg...

I thought Snickers were made in Sweden!!! Have you tried the bean bag inserts they make for them?
