I'm about to tile a number of walls and floors. I've done a little tile before but only with smaller tiles so I'd like to check I'm getting the https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ thickness right for larger tiles;
600x300 porcelain on a wall (one is part of a shower), is an 8mm towel to leave a 4mm thickness of https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ enough or not enough?
The same tiles on the floor I've thinking I should use a 12mm towel to leave a 6mm thickness of https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/. Again enough or not enough?

What are your thoughts?
Thanks

I think it's enough as long as https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ is in super-flexible category.
Thanks for the reply. When you say super flexible category you're talking about the floor https://www.tilersforums.com/forums/tile-adhesive/ aren't you?

Of couse, anything from C2TE and above. Ideal super flexible is classifed as C2TE S1, and it is a good standard when it comes to floor gres porcelain tiles above 0,36 m2.
