I started in the tiling industry around ten years ago as a sales assistant for a national retailer. After a few years I worked my way up to a management position and learnt to tile as part of my training. I was fortunate to be taught by the leading tile, material and tool manufacturers in the correct use of their products and now posses extensive knowledge of the industry.

I developed a passion for the process of seeing a project come together, from design through to installation, and the dramatic change to a property that tiles can create. This interest led me to leave retail and take up tiling full time, forming Waveney Valley Tiling in the process. The name follows a local tradition in the areas of South Norfolk and North Suffolk where the river Waveney flows, with a variety of Waveney Valley (company name) companies named in this way.

TilersForums.com is an independent company and is not affiliated with mybuilder.com, checkatrade.com, or any other rate-a-trader type website. Our forum doesn't rely on customer feedback. Customers don't know how to tile so as long as the tiler has been nice and the tiles didn't fall off, they usually get a good review. With TilersForums.com you can physically see how long tilers here have been a member and how many times their peers have saughttile advicefrom and shared tile advice with them. Dig around on here to quickly find an awesome tiler.
