Should the uk tiling trade be licenced...?

I would definitely agree to this becoming a recognised trade . (Is Builder a recognised trade because the state of new builds that have to be constantly repaired suggests they shouldn't be.) Tiling has no room for mistakes. Customers would be quick to tell you if something was not right.

    Van size

I have just bought a transit swb with medium roof because I'm fed up of dragging everything out of a van to get what you need . This van has Bott racking being an ex virgin media van and its perfect. I can stand up in it and also get a 2.4m board in it. Great for bad weather. I must recommend.

I'm Looking For This Tile Trying to find tiles desperately.

Hi all. I am trying to find some 50mm x 50mm x 5mm mosaic black and white tiles. Rounded bevel on all sides. Has anyone any idea where I could get these from please. They are for a lady with a victorian style bathroom and are to match existing tiles. An older hand at ctd said they were ARKITEKT.

Thanks for your reply Andy. Have just been onto Bal Tech and they advised ripping it up. Also as you pointed out the 10mm can be substituted with insulation boards. That is deffo what I will price for.

Hi guys. I'm back after a terrible few years with my partners health. She is improving slowly. Got a neck aching job to do. I would like to know what trowel and adhesive you guys would use to lay 6"x 6" porcelain tiles on the ceiling. I was thinking a 4 mm notched trowel with a rapid set flex...
