Thanks Joe8189. I proceeded with exactly that solution a while back. Thanks for confirming it was the right choice. Gnasher

    Tile Levelling plastic breaks?

Hi, I am about to fix some ceramic 600 x 300 rectified tiles to a bathroom wall and was planning to use the PREMTOOL tile levelling system for the first time. Having read some reviews of these type of systems, some people have said that the plastic does not always snap in the right place...

    Should I board

I see someone has liked the post showing the tiles, but not sure if that is liking the tiles, or liking the method I suggested. I should add that I will be tanking the cement board. Is this the best approach or is there a better method? Thanks.

    Grout joint width

Thanks for your concern. I would just add that the sun shines in from first light so the tiles will get quite warm in the summer.

    Grout joint width

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Due the lack of comment from anyone else, I assume that despite British Standard being 3mm for floors, then I run no risk of a grout failure providing the tiles are fixed correctly and I use a floor grout suitable for 2mm joints.

    Grout joint width

Hi, I'm laying some 450 x 75 porcelain tiles on a concrete floor and would normally use a 3mm grout joint, what would be the consequences, if any, of using a 2mm grout joint? Thanks. Gnasher

    Grout or Silicone

Hi I am tiling a conservatory floor with porcelain tiles and the walls are unplastered face brick. Do I grout or silicon where the two materials join? Thanks. Gnasher
