Thanks for the reply...
I wouldn't normally overboard a concrete/screed floor with tiling boards as you would normally just tile straight onto that, which is why I was concerned about any adhesive being left on top of it.

Broughty Tiler
Hi - I have been asked to tile a kitchen floor which currently has Karndean (Or other such...) type flooring stuck possibly onto a thin board, but it is ultimately all stuck to a concrete/screed subfloor.
I've never been asked to lift this type of flooring before doing the tiling work, so...
Do any of you use a tile vibration tool when laying the tiles?
Are they good?
What make is the tool?
I haven't seen any versions by the main tool manufacturers (Makita, Dewalt etc.)
Cheers
Hi Dymafo,
I just got it from a local bearing supplier, it is just a standard bearing and NOT a manufacturer only part as I was told by Husqvarna.
The bearings fitted to this tile saw are only dust rated bearings which is fine for the back one, but the front one is water facing so I have...

My Husqvarna TS-230F wet saw has suddenly started being a lot more noisy when running - could it be bearing nose on the motor? Has anyone else noticed this?

Hi,
I have a Husqvarna TS230F tile wet saw which takes a 230mm blade...
I currently have a Marcrist Ck850 blade but it's starting to chip the tiles slightly so I'm looking for a new blade.
What blades do you guys use?
Cheers
Stephen
Hi,
Just wanted to say thanks for all of the replies... It hadn't even crossed my mind that the stove may not have been fitted correctly!
I've contacted the clients again and asked whether it was a proper company that fitted it, but at the moment I don't think I will proceed with it...
Not entirely sure what the back panel is made of or who installed the stove.
My thinking at the moment it to remove the current flexible boarding and install 12mm Hardiebacker with a frame if necessary to provide a stable area to tile onto
Hi,
I have been asked to tile under and behind a log burning stove...
I am happy with the hearth, it is a concrete plinth that I can tile directly onto but the problem for me is the back panel behind the stove.
The board that is there at the moment is very flexible which I have told them...
Hi Phil,
Thanks for your reply - It does seem like it starts to cut offline as the tile goes towards the guard post beyond the blade. It is really annoying, especially with a large format tile.
