DIYer here (and first post!). Done reasonable amount of wall tiling but no floors. New bathroom with concrete base and self leveling compound ontop. I've sadly laid the whole room with our 600 X 400 porcelain tiles using.. deep breath.. mapei showerproof ready mixed tile adhesive which I now realise is 1) for ceramic tiles and 2) for walls. So completely wrong.

If I leave to dry for long enough will it all be ok? Or should I rip them all up and start again?

Thanks for help.

Most tabbed adhesive will only go up to 600x300 ceramic, do you want to risk one of those tiles falling off and hurting you or one of your family members? You'll probably be able to reuse the tiles and can scrape the old addy off the back, for me it's not worth the risk, bite the bullet and get em off
