Hi, I have started restoring Victorian tiles, used lithofin tile restorer and scourers. They have come up quite nicely but there are some stains remaining, some of them are impressions from underlay and one lolls like some sort of glaze, maybe this is the original finish? Was going to have another go with the tile restorer before using lithofin stain stop and polish but would appreciate any advice on getting rid of these.
Thanks, Stephen

Sorry thought I’d put these in original post, also getting a big of effervescence just been trying to mop up but maybe this isn’t the best idea as it’s just introducing more moisture?!

They look nice I love tiles like that.

How are you getting on with them?
Haven’t got any further as I’m back at work today, need to have another go at them and deal with efflorescence before I think about sealing, but more research requires I think
