I did it in a plumbing supplies showroom once and was surprised on how many plumbers picked up on it .
Been doing it for so many years now, just looks so much better, it flows and doesn't look sharp or angular.
Always get a comment of how good it looks.
Do the same on kitchen splashbacks, half tiled round windows.

I find it works better if you soften the corner of the tile a smidgen

I really need to try bending trims again I tried a few times and it didn’t look great or it split the metal is there a certain way to do it
Just cut the fixing part out in an enlarged v shape soften the corner of the tile and bend

The base of the v needs to be 3mm wide.
Bend using a tile (say 400mm x 400mm) to help stop twisting
And Jerry says soften the tile corner
