I've used it a couple times on jobs with another guy that owns one, it's quite big, heavy and loud. The motor went within a year. I'd personally never buy one at that cost. i picked up a d2400 at the same cost and use an actual table sized saw for smaller stuff at a fraction of the price of that cutter

I’ve read that most pro’s seem to prefer the d2400 for performance, etc....but the cost (new) for the d2400 is quite high, when compared to the Husq saw. Can I ask where you picked up a dewalt saw for the same cost ?, sounds like you got a very good deal.

I got mine used and cheap as I had to get some parts for it but I wouldn't compare them both. Different saws for different things. If your after a portable table top I wouldn't say the d24000 is that. I opted for that in place of a bridge saw.

If you can go see the husq in person i would recommend it as it's bigger that it seems and I don't see the benefit of it over a regular decent table saw at half the cost outwith the turf inside to stop the water spray. I have a picture of it but there isn't a regular saw to compare it to. That's just my opinion of course 🤷‍♂️

I should also add that the person that owns it ended up buying another smaller saw due to the size & weight of it!

Ok, thanks. I appreciate that all our tools are down to personal preferences, cost, experiences, etc.... So, for a portable, table top, water cooled saw that can cope easily with porcelain which saw would you aim for ?.

Norton Clipper TT200 or the Rubi ND200 would usually be favoured quite well. It's all down to a decent blade also.

Currently for the past two years i've been using a Vitrex cutter with an upgraded blade with zero issues and i cut porcelain with it weekly. I have the Norton on my list but the vitrex doesn't die and i can also plunge cut with it as the splash guard is completely removable
