I would think that after a while the white rectangles would start to look like they're coming out of the wall at you :smilewinkgrin: Nice neat job though.

A very good standard for DIY, couple of basic errors with the setting out but, all in all, a good job. Well done :thumbsup:

The Legend; Phil Hobson RIP

A job I finished today, what I can't understand is why am I tiling a little fire recess. When the customer has just had a full bathroom walls and floor. Plus kitchen walls, and a large kitchen floor tiled. This "Professional tiler" has laid all the floors on T&G floorboards, and the whole lot is coming up, loose tiles a plenty. Should imagine the walls were dot & dabbed too. Is this what we are up against?:mad2:

Bit of work for you in the near future though Phil. Nice little job that fire place, did you get to choose the design?

Here's my fire surround which I made last week using scaffold boards I found washed up on a local beach, I planed, sanded then routered all the pieces and clamped them together using worktop clamps. I finished it using danish oil. The missus loves it

Bit of showroom work iv done recently, had to cut the curve because whoever fitted the shower tray was impatient and trigger happy with the silicone! But nice to be tested now n again eh :)
